TAPROOM EVENTS

We love to put on a show at our taproom and have plenty events running throughout the year. We have regular live music at the weekends from established bands as well as local, up and coming talent who all know how to get the place rocking! We have our very own 'Monkey on the Town' craft beer festival that runs every September. This is an event where we serve up a huge selection of our own cask ales and craft beers alongside some of the best beers from guest breweries in the local area and beyond. All to be enjoyed with live music and top quality street food that's on offer all weekend. Another fantastic event that we host is 'Right to Roam' music festival that takes place in July. This is a music festival that sees dozens of live bands playing all weekend across four venues in Bolton Town Centre. For such an occasion we have a full size stage erected outside the taproom and build an extra bar to all festival goers with a drink in their hand whilst they soak up the atmosphere! EVENTS IN THE COMMUNITY

As well as holding events at our taproom, we love taking part in and organising festivals in the local community. We run the bar every October at the superb Rivington Light Festival at The Italian Lake in Rivington. This is an event where the main attraction is an absolutely fantastic pyrotechnic light show in the beautiful surroundings of Rivington. There are also lots of different brilliant food vendors to choose from alongside some great little stalls to buy gift items from. Of course, we help everyone quench their thirst with our finest real ales and craft beers. Another great event that we have hosted is 'Monkey in the Woods' beer festival. This was in association with The Woodland Trust in the tranquility of Barrow Bridge. A real cosy affair, with the surroundings delicately lit, again with live music, on a dome stage, Neapolitan Pizza supplied by Fire 'n' Fizz and the beers flowing through the Northern Monkey taps. We do take part in more conventional beer fesivals too, such as Bury Beer Festival taking place every November. This is a awesome beer festival where a number of local breweries attend with their own mobile bar set ups. This creates a great way for the festival goers to taste lots of different beers from different breweries, whilst meeting the brewer of those beers.
